commercial

Commercials have paid for my extended stay in Los Angeles since 2007. It gives me great joy to hear my grandma brag to her church friends that “Adam’s on the TV.” I love advertising and am excited to drive, drink, or otherwise display anything for cash.

Huggies was one of the first commercials I shot and is still a favorite. I attended a third callback in a hotel conference room full of infants to prove my competency as a “father” ; never been more grateful for those years of nannying in New York.

Despite never mastering Excel, I was cast as an office worker in a half-dozen commercials for McDonald’s. Below are a couple where I felt cute.

Orkin had a great idea - make a series of web commercials where two weirdos read online reviews of Orkin’s service then review those reviews. I was lucky enough to work with Nathalie Hebert as a co-weirdo and be directed by the talented Adam Littke.

King Media asked me to embody the complicated character of Dale Daley, a hard-nose reporter who puts aside journalistic integrity to sell the game Farm Heroes Super Saga.  I haven’t played Hamlet, but I think I nailed Dale (finally getting some use out of that BFA in Acting (German Philosophy minor ;) )). Below are some highlights from the 20-odd spots we created.

Perhaps my favorite commercial, Virgin Rockstar Services flew me & my fake band to Thailand for ten days of fun, sun, and my buns in a speedo.  It were real fun pretending to be a rockstar; I got to be on a boat!
